Sacred Heart Hospital Jalandhar is established on 16th May 1985 with 50 beds with the generous help of Misereor Aachen Germany. It had four departments namely Medicine, Surgery, OB& Gyne and Paediatrics. It is run by the Sisters of Jeeva Jyoti Province Delhi, of the Sacred Heart Congregation which was started in Kerala in 1911 by the venerable Fr.Mathew Kadalikattil. The Hospital is started with a unique Mission, to give preventive and curative holistic health care services which are effective, efficient, affordable and accessible.

INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU)
The I.C.U Department provides comprehensive medical management for individuals with critical illness or after major surgeries. These patients require advanced monitoring and care in the Intensive Care Unit setting.
The full spectrum of ICU services is provided by qualified doctors who are present in the hospital round the clock.
