Sacred Heart Hospital Jalandhar is established on 16th May 1985 with 50 beds with the generous help of Misereor Aachen Germany. It had four departments namely Medicine, Surgery, OB& Gyne and Paediatrics. It is run by the Sisters of Jeeva Jyoti Province Delhi, of the Sacred Heart Congregation which was started in Kerala in 1911 by the venerable Fr.Mathew Kadalikattil.

The Hospital is started with a unique Mission, to give preventive and curative holistic health care services which are effective, efficient, affordable and accessible.
