Nursing at Sacred Heart Hospital is both a profession and a ministry. As a nun and a nurse, I am deeply inspired by Christ, the Divine Healer, who showed compassion to the sick and suffering. This example guides us to care for every patient with love, respect, and reverence for life.
Our nursing services are rooted in three values: professional excellence, compassionate presence, and faith-filled service. We follow evidence-based practices, ensure patient safety, and provide holistic care that attends to body, mind, and spirit. At the same time, our nurses are called to be instruments of God’s healing—offering listening ears, gentle words, and comforting presence.
We are committed to continuous growth, teamwork, and outreach, extending our service to the poor and marginalized, staying faithful to the mission of Sacred Heart Hospital.
May every patient who enters our hospital feel God’s healing touch through our care, and may their journey be one of peace, recovery, and hope.
“And the King will answer, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.’” – Matthew 25:40
With prayers and warm regards, Sr. Alphia Nursing Superintendent – Sacred Heart Hospital
